2017- The Perseid Meteor Showers

Here's some good info on optimal viewing of this year's Perseid Meteor Showers in the skies near you!     Do you have a spot you like to go to for best viewing of the night sky?  Please share your experiences!

Time to witness it "raining fire in the sky"!

It looks like the peak viewing time is on August 12, but you will probably catch some good views prior to that too.

I can barely see anything, to much light pollution. But when we lived in Buffalo, MN.....my son and I would go out on the back deck. Lay down our sleeping bags and have hot chocolate WITH baby marshmallows....and just talk and watch the show. ♥ He still remembers doing that.....♥
